Peonies, and lots of them! We grow multiple varieties, each with its own colour, shape, and personality.

Here is a brief description of what we currently offer in our fields:

• Sarah Bernhardt – A timeless soft-pink double bloom and one of the most beloved peonies for cutting and gardens.

• Festiva Maxima– Elegant white petals with crimson flecks and a strong fragrance.

• Bowl of Beauty – Bright pink outer petals framing a golden-yellow center — a striking showstopper.

• Coral Charm – Semi-double coral blooms that age through apricot and peach tones.

• Duchesse de Nemours – A classic pure white with a gentle fragrance.

• Karl Rosenfield – Deep crimson double blooms popular in borders and bouquets.

• Kansas – One of the most classic bright hot-pink peonies with full double blooms.

Peony season is a very short one!

The start of the season is always weather-dependent, but here in the lower mainland of BC, our peonies typically begin blooming toward the very end of May and last until mid to late June.

We sell 5-stem bouquets for $10/each.

However, if you buy 3 bouquets, the cost is $25!

You can get our peonies in one of two ways:

1. At the Farmstand – Once the season begins, the stand is open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM. You can pay with cash in the box at the stand, or via e-transfer to homesteadfarmslangley@gmail.com.

We offer 5-stem bouquets of different assortments.

It is all based on what we harvest in the field the day before! Sometimes the bouquets are all 1 colour, other times they are mixed-colour bouquets. We do our best to have a good variety available at all times.

Yes! We are happy to let you come for grad photos, engagement photos, photos with your dog, just because photos, - whatever! We charge $70/hour to book the field.

We are located in beautiful South Langley, just down the street from Domaine Chaberton Winery.

We live on a quiet, residential street in the country. The closer you get to our farm, you will begin to see signs pointing to our location.

When you arrive, you can park on the street and walk up to our stand to select your bouquet(s). There is a cash box on site for you to leave cash OR you can e-transfer to homesteadfarmslangley@gmail.com

If you forget any of this, don’t worry! We have it all clearly written out on our stand.

*We also recommend bringing a vase or bucket to keep your flowers hydrated on your drive home. We do not have extra buckets, vases, or water on site.

We will occasionally sell the plants (for example: in Spring 2026, we plan on selling a number of our established Karl Rosenfield peonies.)

We will also occasionally sell roots- although we do not expect to be selling any in 2026.
